Time: Leaving from the N1 North Petro Port at 8am. A second group will leave at 9:30am. We’ll be back at around 1pm. Lifts can be arranged.

What we’ll get up to
Join a work party at Tshwaraganang Orphanage where we’ll:
- Do some maintenance work on the premises (under the guidance of a local handyman), fixing doors, toilets, leaks, etc.
- Continue the reading project under guidance of Sonnette
- Play with the little ones and school kids.
Join us for a creative day at Ebenezer House of Hope:
- We’ll be making Christmas decorations
- There’ll be some singing and dancing
- We’re going to play with the little ones and the school kids.
What to bring
- For the handy men and women – you’ll need your toolbox / tools
- For the creative ones, anything that’s useful in making decorations. Examples are pine cones, scrap paper, paint, ribbon, beads, cookie cutters, old wrapping paper, cotton wool balls, scissors, glue.
- Your own water and snacks
- Comfortable clothes, a sunhat and sunscreen
- Any of the following so we can give the kids some food on the day:
- Bread, butter, maize meal
- Fresh fruit and veggies (like oranges, apples, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes)
- Any spreads (Bovril, fish paste, cheese spread, peanut butter)
