I see…
…God glorified in the fullest possible expression! I see God enjoyed, really. I see the Kingdom of God bringing exuberant joy to thousands and tens of thousands. I see people living with passionate purpose and clarity, imparting peace everywhere they go. I see lives lived sacrificially and meaningfully. I see a community that cares not even a bit for recognition or ambition, living from wholeness before the Father, humbled by the true gospel and sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
I see 3ci having a disproportionate impact on all spheres of life; Arts and politics, Socio-economics and sports, provincially and nationally, internationally and municipally, in and through private sector and educational institutions, inner cities and broadcasting, literary fields, service industries and organizations, governmental agencies and spheres of justice, families, darkness and other churches.
I see daily testimonies of healings and salvations, in crowds and coffee shops, through preaching events and faithful integrity over time. I see a community on love-steroids, with marriages flourishing, children raised to become bothered about that which is not right, innovative about problems, builders of a preferred future. I see a church full of faith in God, administering God’s heart and presence to a dying world. I see people crying of happiness in the streets, because they met God and have been touched where it mattered.
I see an ongoing boiling pot of revivals, in pockets and breakouts in such a way that only God could ever be praised for it, untouched by any sensational exaggeration.
I see theologians and preachers, dreamers, musicians and strategists, entrepreneurs and lovers, church planters and five-fold gifts raised up and singing the melody of God into all nations.
I see businessmen, free from corruption, focused and living in the thrill of their calling, purpose and adventure from Monday to Monday, changing worlds, standing against the erosion of ethics and blessing people that could never return the favour.
I see symphonic sections and mass choirs, singing God’s praise, extravagantly, artistically and wholeheartedly.
I see abundance. I see South Africa changing. I see emigrants becoming immigrants, back to SA. I see fun. I see hearty friendships and families, sitting around large, dinner tables in our forest, like good old Italian families, story-telling, testifying and in wonder about God.
I see foreign tongues saying “Jesus” in their own way.
I see single mothers, laughing and living because they are cared for, they are not alone and their kids are growing up with every opportunity, because of true community.
I see a generation of truth-lovers.
I see generations of grace-infused environments that lead to boldness, humility, innovation and the forceful spreading of the gospel, person to person.
I see the gospel sending tremors through regenerated souls, running to the front of church meetings to publicly declare their faith in God.
I see poverty challenged in symposiums and solutions, ultimately through restored, reformational doctrine, leading to revival and forcing a (holy) social revolution.
I see danger and adventure, exploits and people groups, careers risked and failures celebrated.
I see those in distress, or in debt or discontented finding a home here, to be healed and challenged, raised up and sent out.
I see God loved passionately, believed faithfully, enjoyed extremely and revealed more fully.
