How do we read our bible? In Luke 24vs25-27 Jesus explains how all the scriptures of the Old Testament pointed towards him. Our approach in reading our bibles should be the same, where our understanding of the bible as one story (as opposed to a collection of stories) allows us to read individual passages of scripture within the context of the whole.

Our utter dependence on Jesus, as if he were leaning over our shoulders and pointing to his primacy within everything we read, will lead us to a greater revelation of God’s story, the message of the gospel.

While generally the tendency is for the bible to be taught as stories in isolation, often with a defined moralistic angle, BP4LP  will be quite the opposite. It presents the bible as one story with the curriculum consisting of 16 modules which we’ll explore over the course of the year. Our kids will see the story of the gospel unravelled, from ‘creation’ to the ‘new creation’ with the centrality of Christ covered in every module.

The curriculum is visual and interactive, bringing to life the message of the gospel for our kids. The curriculum will be taught to children from age four to twelve. There are three age groups at which BP4LP is aimed, namely ages 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to present this amazing resource to our ‘little ones’ in Throne Zone.
